Workplace first aid requirements
In Sénégal, workplace first aid is governed by Labour Code (Law No. 97-17 of 1 December 1997) and Law No. 2006-16 making occupational medicine mandatory, administered by Directorate-General of Labour and Social Security (DGTSS), Ministry of Labour; Social Security Fund (Occupational Risk Prevention Directorate). Employers must ensure a trained first aider is available at all times.
